Harex provides every service in Pickering: inspection, testing, repair, installation and verification, with the 24-hour emergency line answered for Pickering buildings at any hour.
Pickering Fire Services' Fire Prevention Section sits under the Deputy Chief of Administration and is staffed by a Chief Fire Prevention Officer, a Fire Prevention Officer and fire inspectors. It enforces both the Ontario Fire Code and the Building Code on the city's buildings.
